Yellowstone Hangs Its Hat for the Final Season

Baby, look them doors and turn the lights down low so you can shed a few tears— Yellowstone is wrapping up its final season this fall. The second half of the show’s fifth season premieres on Sunday, November 10 at 8 pm ET/PT. They’re giving us a few more months with the Duttons, even if they’re left without their patriarch Kevin Costner— who departed the show due to scheduling conflicts with his own western (that’s also split into two parts), Horizon: An American Saga. However, Yellowstone is currently in production, so it’s never too late for him to ride off into the mountains one last time. Paramount announced the return of the series through a fiery teaser trailer, with the show’s logo up in flames on the anniversary of its first season. However, Taylor Sheridan isn’t taking a break — he has a few more spin-offs up his fringe sleeves: 1944 and 2024 are both in development. When one sun sets, a moon rises.
