Research raises concerns about quality of care at for-profit nursing homes



More than 70% of the nation’s nursing homes are now owned by for-profit companies, and federal research shows that many of these facilities have lower staffing and worse quality of care. While CBS News contributor Lisa Ling encountered these issues through her own family’s experience, she realized she wasn’t alone.
