The normally crowded skatepark under the Manhattan Bridge was almost empty at 11am which allowed me to get closer than I normally could with my 50mm prime without the fear of getting clunked in the head by a rogue skateboard. Cool and drizzly, people were sleeping in, but the gloomy Saturday morning provided a pleasing even light. With the camera set at f 8 and 1/800, all I had to do was just sit and wait for Zach to go flying by what has to be my favorite street art in all of NYC.
