MOBILE HEALTH: New York-Presbyterian launched a mobile sexual health unit on Thursday to serve communities in Washington Heights, Harlem, Brooklyn and Queens. The 37-foot mobile van is equipped to provide HIV screening, family planning services, vaccinations for sexually-transmitted infections and gender-affirming care, the health system said. The mobile sexual health clinic was funded through New York Presbyterian’s Dalio Center for Health Justice and department of population health, as well as a grant from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP: New York City Health + Hospitals launched the application for its clinical health fellowship to train post-residency medical graduates in health care administration, the health system announced Thursday. The one-year fellowship will place medical graduates in offices including hospital quality and safety, population health, ambulatory care and managed care to get on-the-job training in public hospital administration. The application will be open until September 20.
