Important news straight from the department head herself: Taylor Swift is officially ending the Eras Tour this December a.k.a. Sagittarius season, presumably in the final scheduled city of Vancouver (sorry to anyone who was clowning for a second US leg.) During her 100th show in Liverpool on Thursday, Swift gently revealed that there won’t be more Eras dates, at least any that are going into 2025. “This is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December like that’s it,” Swift said during her “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” speech. “That feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour.”
Swift has been bopping throughout all of her eras, including The Tortured Poets Department, since March 2023, and after performing a 3.5-hour concert for 2 years, she probably needs to catch up on some embroidery work. She continued in the speech, “This tour has really become my entire life. It’s taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore, because all I do when I’m not onstage is sit at home, try to think of clever acoustic song mashups, and think about what you might want to hear and when I’m not on the stage, I’m dreaming about being back on the stage with you guys.” At least she’ll know how to do it with a broken heart for the last leg of the tour.
