A conductor rides between two historic R9 train cars during one of the New York Transit Museum’s Nostalgia Rides.
I’m particularly pleased with this shot as it pulls together a lot of techniques and subject matter I’ve been focused on this year. Plus it was made possible in large part by new equipment, and it’s always nice to take advantage of new capabilities—here, in-body and in lens stabilization, which helped to compensate for the fast moving train and slow shutter speed.
