I had posted a photo of this historic house in 2023. I usually don’t like to repeat myself, but I feel that this shot improves somewhat on that earlier one.
The Frederick L. Rodewald House (named for its original owner) is located in the St. George neighborhood of Staten Island, New York. An example of the “Shingle Style” of architecture, it was built by Edward Alfred Sargent in 1890.
