While Bella Hadid is out and about in Cannes wearing everything from Saint Laurent and Versace to a viral vintage Keffiyeh dress, those of us in New York and Los Angeles are trying to hold it down until her return. In fashion news, actress Amandla Stenberg pulled a Zendaya and wore two separate looks on the red carpet for her new show, The Acolyte. Tommy Dorfman and Beverly Nguyen both dressed on theme, one for a picnic upstate and the other for a slumber party. And I missed a party to only find out the day after that Madonna was in attendance. Here are the best looks from this week.

Best Dressed: Amandla Stenberg

Stenberg wore not one but two great looks at the launch of Disney+ and Lucasfilm’s TV series, The Acolyte. The black Oude Waag gown and beige Acne Studio set perfectly complement each other on the carpet, and Stenberg easily wins best dressed this week.

Best Link-Up: Madonna and Ib Kamara

The first Retreat party by Off-White was a chance to hang with Madonna and creative director Kamara. Y’all would hate to hear that I was supposed to go before I got too tired to venture to the Lower East Side on a Wednesday. At least we got this photo to commemorate, where both partygoers showed off their cool nighttime attire.

Best Uniform: Sofia Coppola

Coppola stuck to her usual elevated uniform of a knit cardigan at the launch event for her tinted lip balm with Augustinus Bader. At the event, she said each shade reminded her of different feelings and memories. The coral felt like summer at the beach, the darker one “like when your lips get sunburned a little.” But the true pink shade was inspired by a Coppola classic. “I had this favorite lipstick from, like, a drugstore that got discontinued,” the director said. “But I didn’t like the smell of it. It was too glossy, and I’m always very particular about what I want, so it was really fun to get to make my custom one.”

Best Method Dressing: Beverly Nguyen

The best outfit to pose in in front of chic duvet covers? An even chicer pajama set, which Nguyen showed off at the Magniberg Pop-Up cocktail event at Beverly’s NYC.

Most on Theme: Tommy Dorfman

Photo: Courtes of Nike

SkyHigh Farm’s picnic brought the most fashionable people in Hudson Valley to one place, including Dorfman, who wore the collab between the brand and Nike while lounging around in nature.

Best Tastemakers: Nellie Partow and Sophia Roe

Partow and Roe prove that all black is always a good option when they co-hosted a cocktail event in New York.

Best Off-Duty: Anne Vyalitsyna

Wearing all-white to a bakery is a bold choice, but Vyalitsyna knew her outfit for the ME+EM Soho store celebration at Raf’s was too good to not wear out, jam and all.

Best Accessorized: Ash Forde

Despite the online backlash, Equinox & Grown Alchemist’s party for their new collaboration was nothing but sunny and smiley, with partygoers lounging around the pool in extravagant ensembles and amazing earrings.

Best Lipstick: Bethann Hardison

Model and activist Hardison brought a bold pattern to the 75th annual Parsons benefit, pairing a black-and-white ensemble with a nice red lip.

Best Styling: Jordan Huelskamp

Of course, the looks at the Kitchen’s — an artist collective in the city — spring gala were top-notch, including this textured green dress and spherical white purse.

Best Botany: Gayle King

King wore a colorful floral gown at the Harlem School of the Art’s 60th-anniversary gala.
