Dua Lipa surprised the Academy of Country Music Awards audience by joining Chris Stapleton in a performance of his song “Think I’m in Love with You.” Backstage, Dua Lipa said the collab had been her idea. Okay, mogul! Make those cross-branding opportunities happen. According to Billboard, the pair are releasing the duet “very soon.” It’s surprising this duet didn’t make it onto Radical Optimism, Dula’s latest album release that came out earlier this month. She said she wanted to move away from disco, and by gum she’s doing it. Stapleton’s latest collab was with the writers of Jimmy Kimmel Live!who wrote an ode to John Stamos for him to perform. He’s nominated at the ACMs for entertainer of the year, male artist of the year, album of the year and artist-songwriter of the year. Both artists will headline Austin City Limits this October.
