Dorit Kemsley and Paul “PK” Kemsley’s marriage seems to be about as over as Dorit’s semi-defunct swimwear brand Beverly Beach. On Thursday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmate announced that she and her husband of nine years had separated. The news comes just two months after Dorit claimed the couple was “better than ever” during the season-13 reunion, which aired in March. “We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage,” the Kemsleys wrote in a joint statement that was posted to each of their Instagram Stories. “We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together.”
“To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children,” the statement continued. “We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey. With love, Dorit and PK.”

Throughout season 13 of the Bravo series, Dorit and PK argued over everything from the 47-year-old’s PTSD from a 2021 home invasion to PK’s hectic travel schedule, how to raise and educate their children, and PK’s drinking. In October of last year, the couple formally denied via a statement to People that they were taking a break from their marriage. “We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family,” the former couple said at the time. “We have not separated nor are we planning to do so. Rather, we are focused on healing, making changes and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage.”
Though expected, the potential demise of Dorit and PK would mean the second major RHOB couple to separate within the last year, following in the footsteps of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky. Moving forward, my only wish is that we protect Dorit’s son Jagger (and Phoenix) at all costs. That child is way too saintly to be on Housewives!
