Early Tuesday morning, a security guard working at Drake’s mansion in Toronto was injured in a drive-by shooting, the Toronto Sun reports. According to the paper, a 48-year-old man was hit with multiple gunshots around 2 a.m. while standing outside the gates. He was brought to a nearby hospital for surgery with what the Sun says are not life-threatening wounds.

Drake is reportedly unharmed, and police haven’t been able to confirm whether he was inside the $100 million house, which is in an affluent area of the city called Bridle Path. Toronto police shared on X that the suspect “fled in a vehicle” and that no arrests have been made. During a press conference Tuesday morning, police said there was no known motive, but the incident comes amid a weekslong feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar that has involved each man accusing the other of abuse. Based on police data, gun violence in Toronto is 63 percent higher than it was at this time last year.

Drake’s team is reportedly cooperating with authorities, and police said the shooting had been captured on video. In a statement, Toronto police told the Cut that the victim is still in the hospital and that the investigation is ongoing.
