Everlane, known for its elevated basics, is teaming up with Marques’ Almeida for its very first limited-edition collaboration. If you are not as familiar with Marques’ Almeida, the brand was created by a Portuguese design duo — Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida — and founded in London. The brand is known for its patchwork denim and playful asymmetrical styles, and recently showed a collection at London Fashion Week after a pandemic-long hiatus.

The partnership revisits some of Everlane’s cult-favorite closet mainstays and Marques’ Almeida’s of-the-now silhouettes, like denim patchwork jackets and brightly colored knitwear, derived from surplus materials.

Do I Need This?

Yes. I’ve been contemplating the printed satin $300 Marques’ Almeida slip dress for a few months, and the collab features a similar style for $198 in pink and seafoam tie-dye colors. They’re coining it, “High end. Low environmental impact.” Sizes range from XS to XL. Let’s go through a couple of key pieces.

Where Can I Get It?

It’s live now on everlane.com! However, you may want to finalize your carts because many pieces are already sold out.

What Are People Saying?

If the comment section is any indication of excitement levels, everyone is already asking when the next drop goes live. We’ve also spotted a few heart-eye emojis, “You’re going to make me go broke,” and “N-E-E-D” comments underneath each Everlane post.
